Just a quick response to your cowl tag Eric. I have a hard time to believe that your parts car, made in the second week of April, 1962 (04B), would have been the 98th 1962 Jetfire produced. They were at 100’s of dealer showrooms around the country shortly after April 19, 1962 introduction. I have worked on turbocharged induction systems that date to the late 1961 time frame. They had many built before the official introduction, a week after your date code in April. I don’t know this as a fact, but that would be my logic on the issue.
