Thanks Jim, I was afraid of that. I have a couple of two seat convertibles where there is either no or or very little of it taking place, but the ballooning and occasional flap is there even with the much smaller top.

Maybe try the exit window strategy above and see if that makes a difference. Friend has a 72 Cutlass on loan and he says he doesn’t experience it so I’ll have to see what’s different.
