The engine bay was absolutely caked with oil, grease and grime. The engine had a number of oil leaks but on the bright side where was no rust!

It was quite a few days of scraping to get all the heavy crud off the engine bay area. Meanwhile and Steve had removed the heater box and bundled and bagged the wiring harness. Then Steve’s alter ego: Haz-Mat Man took over and degreased and pressure washed it outdoors. No point in putting that shiny engine and Turbo back into a yucky engine bay!
