Looking for passenger side 62 fender

I would like to find an NOS passenger side fender for 62. At least like to find a really nice used one with minimal rust. Nothing rusted to the point that the bracing on the lower back is rusted. Anyone have anything?

I will call them tonight. I hear lots of bad things from there. I guess if they have a good fender I should find out for myself.

I would have sworn that the 61 and 62 fenders were the same P/N, but the parts book shows different numbers for each year. What I don’t know is if the P/N difference is simply the fact that the 62 fenders have fastener holes punched for the die cast extension on the leading edge.

My NOS one is 62 and has the holes punched so I would assume it got another part number for that if not for more than that also. I want to believe it will work. DVAP has a rust free 61 fender

I just got pictures of a 62 rust free Jetfire fender with the correct holes. Looks like my problem is solved!

Well, This was my first experience with DVAP and so far so good. I have heard major horror stories about them in the past. We will see what I end up with. When they sent me pictures of the Jetfire fender, I could see a Jetfire valve cover in the background on the hood of another car. I ask them to get me better pictures of it. It turned out to be to rusty but they said if I want it they would just toss it in the box and I could have it with the fender! Didn’t really want it with the amount of rust but for free, what the heck. We will see what I end up with when it gets here.

Just an update…I dont know if they are a match but they also got in a 62 buick special.

The Buick fender is much different. There are other parts that will cross over though.
