Has rust but looks like enough there that it should be restored. Power windows, brakes, and steering. Needs major restoration but at least the price is right. $3500.

Thank you! I sure enjoy do it and maybe even more than driving them after it is done. One thing we are excited about after it is done is we plan to haul it down to the Smoky Mountains and drive all around the mountains in it. That will not be till 2021 though. We done this in the 70 442 W-30 I built and was a great time.

I got my chrome back Friday. I got home and found that the bumpers are going to have to go back. They are really smooth but the centers are cloudy. I called him this morning and sent him some pictures. He said that it was a major screw up on his part and knows how it got out like that. He said he will take full responsibility for it and fix them.…[Read more]

I used a Buick flex plate from a 62 Skylark I believe, bought it from one of the members here. Works perfect. Had to be drilled and spacers used to adapt to the Th200c TC which I believe would be the same as the 4R TC=std GM. You can also use the original roto flywheel but it also needs to be drilled for the TC and has un-needed mass since you now…[Read more]

You’ll need a custom flexplate and the D&D adapter plate. The 200-4R is set up to use a lockup converter unless you build it specifically for a non-lockup. You will need to modify the floor. The only later model automatic that fits without floorpan mods is the TH200 three speed.

Hello Pere,
I do restore complete turbocharged induction systems for 1962 and 1963 Jetfire cars. I do not sell a kit or any of the parts used and needed for a Jetfire turbocharger system restoration. I do not know of anyone else offering this service for a Jetfire.
If you would like more information, send me an email to: jimnoel1@comcast.net -

Looks like you have an A/C car! Does it have any other options? Under the A/C line that runs in front of the cowl tag should be another code. It will have ACC and then could have something after that. Can you see if there is something there. Finding that aluminum bezel is difficult to do and usually not cheap when you do. I have an extra for one…[Read more]

Thanks for the pictures. All 4 of the Jetfire that were exported were built in Lansing so it could be one of those 4 but no way to really confirm that. I see it has power steering also. Do you know of any other options it has?

Your 1962 Jetfire was produced the (05E) fifth week of May, 1962, in the Lansing, Michigan factory and was the 991st Jetfire produced in this factory in 1962. Your paint code (C C) is for Provincial white body and Provincial white top with black tire rims. Your interior color is code (975) Red so your video shows the car colors to be original.…[Read more]
