I cut up an old Jetfire fender that was rusted out to use as a template on the NOS fender. The NOS fender has 4 holes at the front so I cut the junk finder so that these 4 holes would line up between the two. I only have to get the back exactly right and drill. Also found a rust free passenger side fender from Arizona. This was my first time…[Read more]

OK, I measured some bars. I thought our 62 Jetfire had a different bar but turns out that the thickness is all the same for the 61-62 other than police. The part I find funny is that all three of my 62 Jetfire have an identification nub on one end and the Cutlass version does not have this. Not sure the reason for this. I am going to use the 15/16…[Read more]

I no longer need this extra set of Jetfire turbo manifolds so offering them for sale. One bolt is broken off and will need drilled. All the other holes have good threads. I will need $250 and shipping for this set.

Recently bought- found rebuilt engine/turbo for her. Still missing carburetor air cleaner and turbo reservoir. She is a bucket seat center console AC Turbo. Excited to get her in the road.

This info is a little late (since the original posts were from 2016), but the Jan 1965 printing of the parts book shows different windshields for rubber channel and glue-in applications the 1961-63 cars, each in both clear and tinted. Part numbers and footnotes are shown in the two attached pages from that parts book.

i Believe others here have done their own and gasket style is not that hard if you take your time and follow procedures. Used to pop my rear truck window out and in for a camper install, easier than a windshield but similar procedure with a cord. You can save money. I had mine done for me.

I bought a SP-22F, fit perfect. Was told it’s Nla as a car battery and is designated a garden tractor batt. Works good, 3years old, left lights on About a year ago and ran it flat and it charged back up and still going.

I got one from AutoZone that fits fine. 35-DL. Basically, you are looking for a group 35 battery if you go to another parts store. If it has a handle on it I would take the handle off. they hug the hood insulation really close.

I have had people ask for pictures of the clutch fork seal over the past 3 years and never could get a good picture of it in the car. Everything was covered in grease. I got it cleaned up and used leather conditioner on it and it is nice and soft again. I don’t have a picture of it yet but there is a clip on the fork that keeps the leather flap on…[Read more]

With Pilkington you need to snap pic of your date code and they will match it. There is another company it does not come to mind right now. I priced just the wing window glass. priced very well.
