Started cleaning the intake manifold and found that the antifreeze has eat up the inside real bad. I believe I can still use it but when I have some extra cash I will try to find an extra for when I rebuild the engine. This intake has a 158 date code on it and I would like to find one close to that.

I have 14 of the lifters rebuilt. Turned out that all but 4 were stuck. I have two left that are stuck real bad. I have them soaking in carburetor cleaner now and will try to free them up later tonight or tomorrow. The rocker shafts and rocker tips are both very nice still. Unfortunately you can’t hear the turbo on these cars. On a very rare occasion and just the right situation you can hear it but only if you are trying to hear it. I don’t really know what it would be worth. It would not surprise me at all if it went for that much on ebay. I was just in Charlotte back in June delivering a 70 442.

I drained it again and added 10 gallon of premium and added a little to the carburetor through the vent hole. Now it fires right up. Here are some paint markings on the heads. I would assume this would have been found on f-85 and Cutlass engines also. I found it on all three of my Jetfire engines. The driver side is a mint color and the passenger side is a green.

I just drained the gas out of it. SO NASTY!!!! I went out to the river bottoms to drain it into a couple buckets so it would not smell our property up. Last time I had it this bad I spilled some and it stunk for a month. Surprisingly this stuff still burned. Not well but did burn. I have our Automatic car back on the road and running great so I hope to start working on this again soon. I plan to get the old gas out of it first and then flush out the antifreeze the best i can. I have so much fun at car shows with our Jetfire. We get the same thing, people just look all confused when they see under the hood.
Is that 63 original paint or did you look that close?

I think the correct term is 200-4R….

Every 200-4R I have ever seen were the dual bolt pattern bell housing. I don’t think they make a Chevy only or BOP only 200-4R?
