A couple more tries and it is running. Not well but it is running. The spark plugs are stuck in the head and i cracked the porcelain on one of them. I am going to have to at least pull the heads but I think I am just going to drop it all out and go through it. The plug wires are shot, they are the original 2Q-62 spark plug wires. I cleaned the points and put the distributor back in and tested for spark. Likely the first time for it to crank since 1974.

Some more observations. First time I seen the Water Pump and arrow on the lower radiator hose.

Also found that there are two styles for the PCV hose. Both fit the same but shaped different.

The radiator stamp. I can’t figure out if this is a 149 or a 671? I believe it is a 149.

Working on the car again this morning. I took off the manifold to turbo pipe and all the nuts came off like it was new. I couldn’t believe they were not rusted together.
