I pulled the rear end apart Saturday. The spider gears had eaten into the case. I have known about this for a couple years. We did not drive it much since because of the fear of braking it. I took the spider gears out and had to shim them .090 on each side to get the play out.

Here are the correct original belts. The 582057 is early 62 and the 587000 is late 62 if I understand the parts book correct. Not sure what the difference is? I did not measure them. Driver side radiator tank, upper and lower radiator hose.

I am sure most everyone has seen these but thought I would post them anyway. The typical inner fender inspection stamps. Also the stamping on the voltage regulator. I have only seen this on 3 cars. Not sure it is on all cars and some were changed out or or just on some cars?

Just noticed these on our 4 speed car. Looks like they must have done this to most of the cars if not all. I think I will just dedicate this thread to factory markings. GREAT! Glad to see someone get it. If it was closer to me I would have likely bought it myself. Very glad to know it is running also.

Both of my Jetfires came with a non fan clutch setup and are original, also have the cross flow radiator. Do your fan blades have a 4 or 6 blade fan? I would like to have a fan clutch on mine as well. They are for sure better for long distance driving.

Is your car an A/C car? I am not sure but think the clutch was only on the A/C cars. Can you just convert to a non clutch setup? You may be able to make a wanted add and try to find a rebuildable correct pump.

What is it you need exactly? To replace the water pump or do you have mismatched parts? For water pumps, I send mine in and have them rebuilt.

I thought they were all 4 the same? I did not look at the ones on a car. I bought 3 NOS ones that are all the same part number. Maybe I have 3 of the same side? I will look at my cars tonight.
