If you’re incredibly lucky you might find N.O.S. clips. And, unfortunately, the universal type trim clips require access on the blind side of the rocker panel.

Thanks to Jim & Rick for adding the ability to upload images! Here are the floor pan section photos. Also, shown is the 4-speed driveshaft with shorter front half (between CV joint & transmission). Also, don’t forget the pilot bushing. The end of the crankshaft should already be machined to accept the bushing.

I guess Jim Perkins will have to tell us how to attach photos. There doesn’t seem to be an option to add attachments to the posts any more. I tried to paste both a pdf and a jpeg directly into this reply area and that doesn’t work. I’ll post the photos when the option becomes available. Maybe it’s just me.

The floor pan section around the transmission tunnel was cut out at the factory and replaced with a welded in section that has a larger transmission tunnel to accommodate the shifter. I have some photos but I can’t figure out how to attach them with the new website setup. I’ll reply again if I figure it out.

I was a little disappointed in the ’61-’63 turnout but Eric & I were there to represent our segment. There was a ’62 Cutlass parked just outside the show filed. Here are a couple of pics.

I had a great time at the Nationals as well. It was nice to meet Eric, John and their wives. I found it amazing that at an Oldsmobile national event that there are so many people who don’t know about the ’61 – ’63 215 aluminum V8 or the turbocharged Jetfires. Hopefully by binging our cars more people became aware of them and will share with others.

Here is my cowl tag and my understanding of the codes. I assume accessory “2M” means air conditioning but that’s the only one I’m not sure of.
