Here is a pic of my wiring for a ’62 with 2 speed wipers and no washer.
The second pic (red firewall) is a ’62 with 2 speed wipers with washer.
The purple is also wired up to the washer pump with the addition of a light yellow wire from the harness.
For either option it is left to right, looking at the system, red/pink, purple then green to the wiper motor.
