I had the chrome escutcheons (I think I’m using the right word there, it’s the chrome piece that sits behind the lights, wipers, ignition, and lighter switches) rechromed recently (well, the wipers and ignition, anyway, if anyone has tips on removing the lights and lighter pieces, I’ll take them). Inside these things is painted like a gray/silver originally, and then the word is filled with black. Anyone have an idea on what would be a good color match for inside of the escutcheon? I looked at a cast paint and a silver but it looks more flat than that? Thanks.

I know what you’re talking about. I just cleaned mine up and waxed them but also noted that gray paint had worn off. You probably already checked Eastwood since they have lots of that kind of product?
