The full listing is finally live. Please understand that the text is in the hands of the auction company. Hopefully, there isn’t anything too egregious to offend the experts.

To clarify, the modifications made to the car are to add five lug wheels, with front disc brake conversion. It also has a Hurst shifter. With 15″ wheels, radial tires, and the Hurst shifter, the car runs, drives, handles and STOPs so much better than stock, that I consider these to be vast improvements. If that hurts some interest in the car, I understand, but for someone who wants to actually use the car, it’s a vast & very expensive improvement.

I am the owner, and I’m not sure what you mean by a “modified car”. It is an original Jetfire that, as with most, had its turbo removed long ago. I bought the spare engine to put it back to full Jetfire configuration. Jim Noel did a fabulous job rebuilding the entire turbo setup, and yes, it does have refinished turbo heads. Since the car is in Illinois, and I will not be back from AZ. for a few weeks, I have not been able to get a proper photo shoot done. That will be handled ASAP. Thanks, Mike

How much for the dog dish? Also, see above that arthurjones is looking for a set of 13″ wheels.

NW suburbs of Chicago. The tires are in good shape, not a lot of miles, 195 radial black walls. Not sure of brand, and they are in my storage shed, so I can check later. $100 + shipping, and whatever it costs to demount the tires if you don’t want them.

Sure. Make me an offer, but no idea on shipping cost. They have good black wall tires mounted.

To update the info on my issue, here is what I found, and the solution. I dropped the gas tank a few inches to see what was going on with the breather hose. It was very clear what the problem was, as the hose was kinked in at least three 90 degree bends. There was no way that the tank could be vented properly to allow it to be filled. I understand what went wrong with the installation, as the hose needed to be pulled from the top as the tank was lifted back into place in order to keep it from kinking. Once the tank was back in place, I filled the tank with no trouble at all. In fact, the gas gauge now also works as it should. If anyone else has had a similar problem with filling their tank or overflows, this seems like a reasonably easy fix.

Just an update. I bought the wheels from the member here who had them advertised, and ordered an exhaust system from Waldon. Thanks to all for the help. The project is taking shape. Mike

Thanks, I’ll be careful in checking fitment.
