624speedtimParticipantMy 62 has an aluminum console with the 4 spd pattern engraved and it also has a tach built in.I cant find a picture of it anywhere. Is this piece rare or what?

macf85ParticipantThese parts are rare. The tachometer is even more rare. The Cutlass 4-speed “console” came with a tach. The Jetfire 4-speed “console” came with the turbocharger gauge which shows power and economy. Here is a pic of a 1963 Cutlass 4-speed console but it has a tachometer from a 1964 Cutlass. The face on the ’64 is a bit different than the ’62 & ’63.

macf85ParticipantSorry the pic wouldn’t attach. When I figure out what I’m doing wrong I’ll try again.

macf85ParticipantFor pictures:
Click on the Car Pictures tab at the top of the page. Under 1962 Car Pictures click on slickclyde_1962_1c for a 4-speed console with a tachometer. Under 1963 Car Pictures click on booster_1963_1c for a 4-speed console with a turbo gauge.November 27, 2014 at 6:19 pm #10797
perkinsrk1963KeymasterI’ve fixed the problem with attaching images. Here are the two images that you mentioned. Please let me know if you have any more problems attaching files.
