The E I have is missing a stud and the chrome is dull on both of them. For some reason I can’t post pictures here any more but if I can get an email address I could send you pictures. I have not found the clips yet but I know I have some

I will look for them tonight. I have just a few of those clips but not sure how many. I am not aware of them being reproduced but not sure. Sandy looked and couldn’t find them a while back. Hoping that not all of them are bad that you have. On similar emblems I have used 3M clear emblem adhesive on the little studs when I install them and it holds…[Read more]

Some 63’s were black and some were body color under the hood. Not sure what determined the difference? Maybe a mid year change? I believe it was just the typical chassis black they used for years. More of a satin finish. I have some extra trunk letters but not sure how nice they are. If you find you need them let me know and I will look for them.…[Read more]

Here is another video from last weekend when I started it up and broke in the cam. This weekend I have both front fenders and front bumper on. Most of the front end is together. I will try to post pictures again but it has not worked for a few weeks for me.

Does it have Felpro gaskets now? Are you doing both sides or just one? The entire gasket set is not all that much. I think it is around $85 for the set. I do have a set of Fep-Pro head gaskets I can let go of but I will want $45 and shipping for the pair. You would not be that far off from just getting the entire set from the local auto zone

I Think the color is likely the same. This picture is not very good for mine. I found a nearly mint used one for my car a few years ago. I have another one that is nearly as good that may find its way to Melissa’s car.

That is what I felt but I have heard of several people needing these in the past. I never needed one so was not sure if there was something people have found that work or not. Felix just posted on Facebook that a TH400 transmission dipstick grommet works good. I will skip this project since there is an alternative

What are people doing for the oil return grommet for the turbo on the Jetfire? Is there a good replacement that anyone has found that works? I thought about getting an estimate to have these reproduced but not sure there is enough demand for it or if there is a “good enough” replacement that people are using. The price would depend on how much the…[Read more]

Just picked up the driveshaft from the shop and could not be happier! Before I took it I was not sure how I was going to make the ends look good after the new tubes were welded on. I knew they would not match the pretty new tubes. It is not “correct” but I decided to bead blast the ends and just dip the ends of the shaft in my phosphate solution.…[Read more]

The guy that rebuilt the water pump painted it and it didn’t look right. Just used some lacquer thinner on a rag and took it right off. I will use a Q tip to remove it in the little areas I couldn’t get to.
