joemoParticipantI have a 62 cutlass convertible and realized I should get the repair manuals. Do I need to buy the 61 manual and the 62 manual? It looks like the 62 is just a supplement.

62 Cutlass ConvertParticipantYep, 61 is the main manual and 62 supplement has various 62 updates including coverage of the convertible which is essential for your car. I have an original 61 shop manual which has nice color wiring schematics and good clear pics and is commonly available. We have a new 62 repro supplement which is not nearly as nice with the binding already falling apart. Not really much difference in price. Also a separate supplement for the Jetfire.

joe_padavanoParticipantBe sure to get the REVISED edition of the 1961 manual, as it includes info that is not in the original version and is not covered in the 1962 supplement either.
