Thanks. I hate to say it but I don’t check in here very often any more. I have sadly joined the masses and mostly on the Facebook group. It is a very active group there.
This trip was an incredible trip for the entire family. He called me about 2 weeks after the Olds Nationals.

Anyone have the parts necessary to convert manual to power steering?
Assume I need-Box, bracket, pulley, pump, Pitman arm, column joint, hoses and I would have new made up.
Anything else?
I am local to San Jose and can drive a ways to pick up which would be nice rather than shipping but shipping is not out of the question.Thanks

Update-started leaking today.
Taking it out and down to the rad shop for a pressure test and solder patches. -

Used some “Permatex Fuel Tank Repair 84334”. Its an epoxy stick. Cut some off, mix, press into place. Let it cure. Looks a bit like chewing gum under a table.
Working well at this point.
The leak was a very small hole on an old crease from bottoming out at some point in the distant past.

I heard but have not confirmed that Corvair are the same foam and upholstery cut pattern. Not style of course.
Seats probably don’t mount the same though. -

No one sells new tanks for Y-body cars. Some folks have adapted the 62 Nova tank by having the filler neck relocated.
