Chirping noise is actually getting better. Still don’t know what it is but getting quieter.

Ok, anyone have an idea why the car will be idling just fine and quit when hot? Starts right back up.

    Fuel pressure is 6 psi
Timing is 5 BTDC vacuum advance is working fine.
    Voltage at coil is good.
    jets are clear no dirt

I see an earlier post on exhaust, anything there?

A warped/leaky exhaust manifold can chirp.

Carburetor must have been leaking vacuum internally. I put an Edlebrock on it and so far it has not stalled yet.

I am having custom linkage made for it so I can drive it and fully test this theory.

Also, I had a custom made bottom made for the original air cleaner so I can use the original one.

    So far, so good.
