I am getting ready to overhaul my engine (63 jetfire). Would like to have your input on which parts sources you have had good experiences with. I have had two people say they have bought from land rover parts
suppliers, like gasket supplier AJUSA in Spain. Also, it would help me to know which parts you have trouble sourcing. I know about D&D. Jim

    Egge http://www.egge.com/kits?make=OLDSMOBILE
has all the engine parts, and complete engine kits. You can get Felpro gaskets and other parts from Auto parts stores like O’Reilly. If D&D can’t get the Felpro neopreme rear main seal, you can make your own from an availible part. Front cover neopreme seals are availible too.
    See my build thread.

I have Egge pistons in my car. I got them through D&D. I could be wrong but I thought D&D had exclusive rights to the Jetfire replacement pistons that Egge makes? That may not be correct but for some reason I thought i was told that.

Also, D&D told me not to change the cam Bearings if I didn’t absolutely have to. My machine shop found out the hard way that he was right.
