jensenracing77ParticipantDid 62 offer a glove box light? I am not seeing it in any of my information. I found it for 63 as code U27. I don’t have much experience with 63 but I just got this NOS harness with some other stuff. The guy just included it because he did not know what it went to. I am wondering if anyone knows if this is for the 63 (or even the 62) Cutlass and Jetfire. The flap on the box with the part number is gone so I can’t look it up that way.

Jim NoelParticipantHi Eric,
Have not looked in my 62-3 parts book but the part could be bought from a dealer and installed in a 62. A 1/2″ hole is drilled where the pilot hole is dimpled in the dash metal on the left side of the inside the edge of the glove box door. It then pops right in and shines through the window or hole in the glove box liner. They work great, I have them in both of my 62’s.August 20, 2018 at 6:25 am #13986
Jim NoelParticipantHi Eric,
Your third picture #2155 is the glove box light. I recall seeing your second picture light #2154 and it seams like the shielded light with the small light hole is for the ash tray? Can’t recall what the other socket on the harness is for, maybe the radio? -
