Has anyone found a larger front sway bar for our cars? Some thing from another GM model?

Did you install the rear sway bar?
Don’t know of a bigger front but the rear made a substantial improvement. Car doesn’t lean much at all.

I’ll second the installation of a rear bar first. Enlarging the front bar just makes understeer worse. The back bar makes handling more neutral.

I think you’ll find it stiff enough for the street with just the addition of the rear. A sway bar does also firm up the ride. Especially over certain road surfaces.

    Who’s rear sway bar?
    Where can it be purchased?

Luck is at the intersection of planning and opportunity.

AADCO. THE BRACKET PLATES ARE NOT GOOD. I HAVE A POST IN HERE SOMEWHERE ABOUT MY INSTALLATION AND CUSTOM BRACKET. DO A GOOGLE SEARCH FOR IT SINCE THE FORUM SEARCH FUNCTION IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE ON THE SITE.

I SHARED THE BERACKET REDISIGN WITH AADCO SO YOU CAN CHECK WITH THEM BUT IF THEY ARE STILL OFFERING THE SQUARE PLATES THEY HANG IN THE AIR. IT’S NOT A BIG DEAL TO DO YOURSELF. I ALSO BOXED THE LOWER CONTROL ARMS.

    BTW, WORKS GOOD.

The rear sway bar post in dated July 16, 2015, back when I was a young man, and is titled
    Rear Swau Bar-62 Cutlass.
Yes, Sway is misspelled with a u.

I tried looking this up on Aadco and they do not list Oldsmobile nor Pontiac Tempest. How did you guys find the bar? My car is a 63.

graytoad, I have not installed mine yet. I have attempted but as 62cutlassconvert said, the plates to mount are not as desired.
Also, you are correct that the kit says for 63 Tempest and not skylark/cutlass….but it can work.
Quick google search shows you plate modification/design that would work.
