Have recently discovered that the primary valve body in my automatic transmission has a problem. I am in need of the primary valve body for a Jetfire Hydra-Matic that has the transmission code OX5 on the ID plate.
I elected to stay with the original trans in this car but know that several of you Jetfire owners have swapped out the original auto for a 4-speed or some other auto type. If you still have a Jetfire Hydra-Matic laying around, and would be willing to pull the valve body, please give me a call.

I thought the valve body was the same as the Cutlass and f-85 Hydra-Matic? I know the line pressure was set higher on the Jetfire. I have an extra 61 Hydra-Matic and I know there are a couple little differences in 61 but if we can determine the valve body was the same you can have it.

If you don’t have luck finding one from an OX I can pull this one and see.

A good Jetfire guy came forward with the OX5 valve body for me. It is in the mail. Hope to have my new toy running good soon! THANKS!
