    ok here is another dumb question. As far as swapping over to 5 lug the front is a no brainer. On the rear, will an S10 rear end bolt into a 62 f85? or just n axle swap?

    Well, an S10 uses leaf springs and the F85 uses coil springs.

    I’m going to go with “no”…

    Apparently I need to be more explicit.

    The 61-63 axle and the 7.5″ axle in the S-10 are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.

    NOTHING interchanges, swaps, or “bolts in”.

    Does that answer both halves?
