my car has front seat belts. i was wondering if anyone would have a set of red seat belts for the back or where i would find a set to match the fronts and mount like they would have originally? also, were the back set belts the exact same length as the fronts on cars that had the back belt option?

Rear seat belts were NOT an option for 62 or 63 Jetfires. The option was front seat belts. The factory installed anchor locations, that were plugged, for dealer or self installation of front seat belts. There are no factory anchor locations for rear seat belts. Find a spot with good support and drill your own holes for anchoring/mounting.
I have added rear seat belts to my ’62.

Jim, I just found where the back seat belts were an option in 63. It is in the 63 assembly manual. Would you or anyone have an assembly manual for 62?

    Hi Eric,
I stand corrected regarding rear seat belts in the 1962-63 cars. They were not factory installed but could be dealer or self installed. Attached is the 62-63 Jetfire assembly page for rear seat belts and how to add to a 63. I followed this procedure when I added them to my 62. I do not recall if the dimples were present in the floor pan or not?

I have also copied the seat belt listings from the 1962 and 1963 Parts and Accessories Catalogs. In 1962 they just list front and rear seat belts, no color options or separate hardware. For 1963 they list many color options and a Seat Belt Aux Pkg for the rear. I have assumed that this rear package is the hardware for installing whatever color seat belts you want.
