I would like to find an NOS vacuum advance unit for the manual transmission Jetfire, part number 1116205. This is the original part number from 62 and 63. The 72 parts book shows that this part number was consolidated to a 1116146 unit but this is not the same thing as the one from 62 and 63. The 146 was originally made for the 58 model year and nothing in 62. My bet is that it was close enough that they no longer wanted to stock them for the Jetfire and consolidated it.
The 1963 parts book shows the 1962-63 Jetfire, manual transmission vacuum advance to be a 1116209. The 1116205 is for the auto trans. The manual has a 90 degree tube for a rubber hose and the auto has a threaded tube fitting.
There is an NOS aftermarket one on eBay that looks to be correct to me unless the V284 is what is in the box?
Yes, I looked at the wrong line when I posted this. It is the 116209 that was consolidated to the 1958 model year and is for the 4 speed. Thanks. I did not see that one on eBay. I will likely just get it.
