    Hi Jim,
When you say cards I assume you mean door panels? Mine for my Cutlass convert are very beat. Can they do the shiny insert material too to make up new ones?

It is not NOS material. It is very good reproduction material. Ask them for a sample and see what you think, or buy a yard for a better idea.

Try SMS Auto Fabrics. We got blue upholstery fabric from them and it looks good. They show samples of their material on line. Pricey but it’s right.

My 62 convert is not in as nice shape but I am keeping it a survivor with no repaint. The interior paint was pretty oxidized (convert) with some bubbles here and there. I used a very fine polishing compound by hand and then paste wax and it came up very nicely. Even used Eastwood clear Rust encapsulator on the rear trim panels for the quarter windows after a 1200 grit sanding to remove some surface rust and it came out OK, not restoration quality but it’s a survivor and looks good. Your coupe should come out nice.

Try Fusick Olds for some parts, Rare Parts has suspension parts-buy on a commercial account for good prices-web site is a little confusing so call and they can walk you around, Shocks 2 Springs has shocks and other stuff, various suppliers for new springs including Detroit Spring, you can re-line your shoes, check other threads for suppliers on those projects. Search field is at bottom of page. Kanter Bro has alot of parts but as said above, they are pricey and IMO the have an attitude.

Not sure what you mean with your question. Ben’s is still selling the 5 lug disc brake kit for the front and is now selling 5 lug axles for the rear, you can also send an axle off and Moser will make a 5 lug axle for you. 1″ lower Detroit springs work great and the rear sway bar with the bracket mods shown in another post also works well, car handles nice. MC comes on close to the floor but works well once you get there.

Well Joe you’re right, the base has a V front and back. Pretty good repro for quality but the method of retaining the glass is a little different, it only uses one large recess instead of a recess for the glass and another for the split ring as the orig mirror does. The glass is slight larger and will not fit the orig, have to drive out the ball stud to use the top with the old mount so I just cut my losses and used Jim’s old mirror glass in my mirror body. Hey, it goes with the condition of the car anyway. Worth a try but no go. Anyway, I may sell it or keep it, haven’t decided.
