Absolutely will. The order was confirmed today; I await with anticipation.

Montgomery Ward Go Getter. Nice, there is a lot to like in that name! Anyway, I ordered the battery from batterycentralmall.com. It is a classic look on a modern AGM battery. I’ll update when it arrives in 4 weeks or so. Who knows, I may get lucky & hit on a production run rather than having to wait.

Eric, you are constantly moving forward on your Jetfire restoration, a true hobbyist & an inspiration to us all. There is much to learn from you, thank you for your ongoing story. Dave E.

I have a ’63 & I don’t recall the slap/flap phenomenon. However, I drive it 95% of the time with the top down (of course!!). The top has been replaced, but it was on the car when I got it, & will need replacement in the next 1-2 years. I don’t have access to the car right now (in the shop for a few things I just don’t have time to do right now). Michigan weather is iffy right now so I’m not sure I’ll be able to check out how it is put together for awhile. I’ll keep you in mind when I do get it back. Sorry I can’t be of more help right now, but I didn’t want to leave you hanging out there.

Thanks for posting the pictures. It was truly good to meet some of you in person & see all of these great cars together in one place. Great to see the excellent cooperation & help from all the Oldsmobile enthusiasts. Can’t wait til next year.

Nicely done, good to know it is going to a good home. I think the problem with the car is that it needed an interested owner, which it now has!
