4 speed Jetfire distributor. Selling as a core needing rebuilt because I have never used it but it spins free. Does have a little corrosion on the points lobe of the shaft. It would likely be just fine after you cleaned off the lobs and run it as is. $100 and shipping

Are you sure it is a P? Is this what is on the title and also the VIN tag? Could it have been a typo on the title? Can we get a picture of the cowl tag and VIN tag? I am wondering what the build date is.

I did look into this some on Sunday. They are a little misleading about the cooling. It does not absorb heat as well as water but the engine temps on many cars would not change. Good news, I pulled the distributor and before pulling the oil pump apart I tried to prime with a drill. It took a minute but it primed up. Put the distributor back in it and fired up and the oil light went out. As long as it is ok till after Homecoming then I will be happy. I am rebuilding it when I restore the car.

I just can’t understand why it was fine when parked and then no oil pressure the next time it started. Nothing mechanical could have went bad I don’t believe. I just pulled the turbo supply line off and poured a 1/2 cup of oil down the tube hoping it would get the pump to prime. I started it up and no luck! I am not going to start it again. I just have to pull the pump and distributor and get it going again.

I am picking up a parts car Sunday, I will see if it has a good mast after I get it home
