Looks like they installed the heads on opposite sides. It don’t hurt anything but the head with the numbers was on the passenger side when new.
It is probably a good thing I did not see this car for sale, lol. I sure don’t need another one but love that color.

They were stamped specific to the Jetfire on the front pad. It is nice to have the correct number stamped in the block but other than that I do not think there was a difference. I am sure others know better but I do not think the block was any different. I think it was just the pistons, rod caps and rod bolts. They had better bearings but all replacement bearings now are the same as the Jetfire bearings were.

Sprang a leak in the fluid tank. Looks like someone tried to fill a couple little pin holes with body filler, lol. I took it off and will fix it correct. Will have to bead blast all the paint and filler off of it and run some muriatic acid through it to be sure it is clean inside. Does anyone have a correct 63 bracket for the Turbo Rocket Fluid reserve bottle they want to sell? Would be interested in the bottle also but the bracket is the main thing I need.

I got the fuel issue fixed and the car is driving real well now. The engine and turbo is working great. I had to fix an oil leak, pulled the tank and replaced the fuel sock, installed a trunk mat, and adjusted a little more on the shifter.

Joe Padavano recommended Qual Krom in Erie, PA for the emblem. I will send it to them and see how it turns out. Not cheep so I am glad I only need one restored.

Roads were bad so I did not get to do any more testing on the issue of it dying on me. I did pull the speedometer cable out to re-run it. It was laying on the exhaust manifold and melted some of it. I got it fixed and was able to run it proper. Also adjusted the shifter linkage just a little.
