I like the looks of the white wheel better.

When I first got it fired up it had a total of 14 lifters stuck and would not pump up. I pulled the intake and rebuilt all the lifters. Of all things, A guy on the classicoldsmobile forum found this trim piece. The one on our 4 speed Jetfire is one of the two worst pieces of chrome on the car. The original has lots of pitting. This one is MUCH better than that. Now just to find the same piece for the driver side.

I know nothing about Chevy but the guys that were there said it was a modified 60’s Corvette injection intake manifold with adapters to adapt the turbos to the intake.

A guy that is following this car on You Tube ask me for an update so I just made a short video of it cleaned up. Still a long way to go on cleaning it but it is much better than it was.

Last two for a while. I got the top polished now and reinstalled the grill and headlight housings. I am going to have to polish the entire thing at least one more time to get it right but it is looking much better than I expected. Other than the windows I have not touched the interior. It was smoked in and it going to be terrible to clean.

Just got a phone call tonight that I was hoping to get all week. Looks like another step in the right direction. I have no idea when I will be able to get the information but when I do I should have the authority to share the documents. Here are some pictures after cleaning it two times. The first time was with dish soap and hard scrubbing. It did not do very well at cleaning the years of dust and gunk. The engine I got from you was a big hit at the MCACN show in Chicago this past weekend. It had a line of people that formed just to get a look at it.

3:00 AM and just got home. The road was getting real wobbly on me the last 25 miles. I am getting to old to drive like that.

They should have 63 but the guy that showed me the 62 documents did not have it on him. I will get started on getting my own copies for both 62 and 63. I will scan them and post them when I get them but it may take a trip to Michigan.

I never had time to get a picture when there were 20 to 30 people surrounding my car and engine but this was a slow time and snapped one of how it looked around the engine almost the entire time. At times there was waiting line to get a look at the engine. People were really amazed that these cars were ever made.
