I have a rebuilt master cylinder from Hampden Service Parts. The box says part number 43201 and has been crossed off and another number 40005 has been written in by hand. Here’s the question. Did anyone just see the ’62 Jetfire sell on BJ for $8500.00? Red with white top, no turbo. I only caught the very end of the auction. Dang that was cheap.

I have the old mounts still on the cross member but they are brittle. I could use them and replace later. Something that may help, If you are decent with drawing and dimensioning I could duplicate them myself. Also I would need to know about how hard they are. Material like plastics and rubbers can be gauged on a duromter scale.

What are members using for the rubber mounts when pulling the front cross member. These are the three mounting position, 2 behind the spring and 1 at the nose.

I picked up my hoses yesterday at the Oldsmobile Homecoming in Lansing at the Fusick trailer. They look great. Thanks to this thread otherwise I wouldn’t have known to look for them while attending.

I didn’t realize when I first posted that there were 5 pages to this thread. Thanks for the effort to get these hoses a reality. I’ll order what my son needs soon.

14″ were available on F-85s and Cutlass models. The Jetfire at least in 62 were only 13 or 15.

Seems their web-site has trouble staying up across all pages. Last time I check the clutch page was down. I’ll try again.

My son’s Jetfire came with the 15 inch wheels. He has 7 wheels and three are the correct color for his car. My buddy that rescued this car from a salvage yard in 71 spotted 4 more wheels at the time and bought those also. Rob’s not planning on selling his extras just yet.
