The paper on the window has an address and I googled it. Then compared it to the video that Ryan Brutt filmed of this car from where it had sit since 1974. Then compared it to the original picture. Also compared all that to the original 07-02-1962 title that I have. All the addresses match up and the street view for google matches the sidewalks…[Read more]

Now that I am looking at the 1962 picture more I realize that my spare tire is original to the car! The wheel was repainted but there is paint on the tire and valve stem from bad tape lines.

I believe I have a set of nice horns. I had them for sale a while back and don’t remember selling them so they should be around. I will look for them tonight and see what I have.

Let me know how it fits. If I can find the right color I still plan to spray mine but like to have a backup plan.

Thanks Jim. I have not even seen the JWO yet. My dad called and said it was in there. I had talked to someone at the 2015 nationals that ask me to give them something about it. I had sent it in soon after the nationals and assumed it was not good enough to use because I never seen it. I will go get my copy from my parents house tonight.

I did not even notice that. There are lots of rings on eBay for 14 inch. If you can’t find the exact thing maybe you could get 4 matching that are close till you find the right thing? I will keep my eyes open for an original

I have tried to contact the guy and have left a message but he is not returning my calls. The number listed is a guy that listed it for the owner. He give the number to the owner. I am not interested in it for myself but thought I would get more information on it because I know some other guys looking for one. Looks like it has potential.
