If you use cork use the impregnated cork material. Did one like that, Sealed to sending unit with Permatex aircraft sealer with nothing to the tank.so I can pull it on and off tank when needed. Works well.
You could use HighTack to the tank, it would be removable.

Pure cork will leak.

Update-started leaking today.
Taking it out and down to the rad shop for a pressure test and solder patches.

Used some “Permatex Fuel Tank Repair 84334”. Its an epoxy stick. Cut some off, mix, press into place. Let it cure. Looks a bit like chewing gum under a table.

Working well at this point.

The leak was a very small hole on an old crease from bottoming out at some point in the distant past.

Seats probably don’t mount the same though.

Don’t know but i gave my upholstery guy a set of 62 buckets with torn up covers and crumbling foam and he made some really nice orig pattern covers with his own foam. Came out really nice.

Im using 15×6 with 3.5/8” backspace and a little bigger tire at 205 65 15.

Spindle is not changed. The hub fits with same mounting flange location as original 4 lug hub. My understanding from talking with BCPP is that it is located the same as the original hub. I dont know this for sure but i believe i remember the Tempest hub in front is a five lug? There is another one or two as well I believe. Couldn’t confirm which ones. Then you go for new axles in the rear I believe. BCCP can supply or Moser will make them. Not cheap.
