I almost never come here any more. The Facebook group is pretty active. You can actually start a Facebook and not accept any friends of any kind and only join the 61-63 group. The only thing you will see if our stuff and nothing else. There are three of us that are administrators and keep it specific to our cars. It is a really good group.

Do you have a Jetfire or looking at one? If you are looking for a Jetfire engine to put in a car with a missing engine there are some out there. I have a 62 Jetfire engine in Indiana available.

That car has floated around for a few years. The cowl tag and very likely the VIN tag were removed from another car and riveted to this one. My opinion is that the owner should cut his losses and sell it as a parts car. Has some great parts but not sure how legal the car will be to title in different states when the title says it is a hardtop.

They are the same size but the Jetfire used an aluminized coated valve and the f-85 and Cutlass did not. If you are replacing the valves it don’t matter because most all the new valves are superior to the Jetfire or f-85 valves.

I have everything needed but I am really far away. Shipping would be killer because it is all heavy.

That is a vinyl top. The A pillars have the stainless on them. The A pillars would be white also if it were painted.

I don’t know anything about the car but would really like a picture of the cowl tag. It is a rough car and you wouldn’t want to pay much for it. You say it is registered here? What car is it? Have you seen the car in person yet? The reason I ask is that the 4 speeds are very rare and just be sure that it is not a scam where someone got pictures off the net and made a fake listing. This is happening a lot right now.

That is a loaded question without lots of pictures. Are you sure it is a factory 4 speed car? You have to consider it as not running and turbo system needing rebuilt and the fact that there are no floor pans available…. Also rust is always worse than it first looks. Thanks guys. We had a great time there. I am not very good in front of a camera and very glad Felix was there with me. Both of Felix’s cars and mine got 1st place in the points judging and then our 4 speed car got BOC. They also give our car the best post war car of the show. That totally took me by surprise and completely unexpected.

I have some interior trim but if he is looking for the front windshield trim for the glue in windshield I am out of those.

Looks like I have 12 good ones and another one that will work but not as good.

Jim, The 63 trunk emblems area a rectangle style barrel clip. I have not found these yet.
