If you are able to match it really well let me know. I have not held them next to each other but I wonder if it is the same color as the headlight housings painted area? I had an NOS 70 442 grill for one side and a used for the other and had to paint the NOS grill because I could never get it matched perfect. Sure made me sick painting an NOS grill.

I cleaned up a pitman arm today from a 61 with manual steering and found this. It has a small yellow paint dab and then a large white paint dab on it. This is from a 32,000 mile car so some of the little details have survived well.

Lectric Limited offers another version of points replacement. I am going to try that setup the next time I do a conversion. Do you just not want to deal with the points or looking for a performance upgrade? For the most part the HEI does not improve performance.

I just use the points but if you don’t want them then just go with the Pertronix points replacement setup in the existing distributor. I would also go with the replacement coil that is recommended for the Pertronix system.

If your lines are not plugged up or leaking then you should be fine. If the rubber hoses are really old you will likely need to replace them.

It was just pointed out to me that these are not correct that are in the pictures. The f-85 cars have tall and skinny ones and these are short and wide. I will have to confirm with them if the picture is wrong or the listing is wrong.

In my opinion, Anything with a pressure around 5-7 lbs that has a 5/16 to 3/8 line is going to supply enough for a carburetor. If your car has a return line back to the tank then maybe a 3/8 line would be best.

I am for sure not an expert on electric fuel pumps but the stock 215 2 bbl and 4 bbl engine pump was 5-6 PSI.
