I re-sprayed one cars headliner with a vinyl dye (comes in a spray can, works like spray paint) that was a very good match and made it look new again.
The photo I posted is Tan. SMS also has white, I am sure.

Great job Eric. The interior looks fantastic. If the clock doesn’t work, they are very easy to fix. The only thing I would do different is I would have pulled the motor and rebuilt it. I would not take a chance. Keep up with documenting everything, it’s really helpful.

I saw it on line and will be a bidder if I could get more information about it. I have requested more info from Mecum. Hate to find it full of body filler.

Eric, the oil cap decal is available from “Rubbertherightway.com” and they sell on eBay (free shipping). Search under 1963 Oldsmobile for it.

The radiator sticker is a little harder, it looks like it says “Important” and it must do with Antifreeze. I found these for 62 Buick. You might have to have one made.

May I suggest getting the Melling steel trust plate kit. The plate comes with steel plate, longer screws, gasket, and instructions to fit the plate between the cover. It allows the gears to trust to steel instead of aluminum. They also make rebuild kits with new gears and spring. Good luck!
