Ok I know this topic has been beat to submission, but I have a lead on a range rover 2wd AT.. It is out of an 89. I just want to make sure this will mate up with out any major mods.

Thanks for all the input. I am not a big fan of Edelbrock…Already purchased my Quick Fuel…..not really wanting to use the adapter plate… hoping for a clean look…

Ok so I have seen a few of you with aftermarket carbs on your rides…..Did you keep the stock intake, and use an adapter plate or did you replace it with an aftermarket intake. If so what did you use?

I know where the choke tube goes. This tube in question still seems to be a mystery. There was no mention of this in the manual.

Well the unforseen has happened. The motor has a knock. I was going to do a rebuild down the road, but it looks like that road has finally come. It has all to do with stopping power. If manual brakes are so great then why does the D.O.T. require power brakes, and now antilock brakes.. Again its making old cars better than new.

I mentioned in a previous post abouta shop in CA. The guy was pushing a C-4 on me with a ford driveshaft.. I talked to him about the 200c, and he said that the 200c uses a computer… I know the 200R4 does. Anyway then he was pushing a 289 motor. I think he got clueless when I told him what I had. Just an FYI.
